Sesame, flaxseed, amaranth
तिल · अलसी · राजगिरा
Three old Indian seeds — til, alsi and ramdana — small and nutty.
What it is
Sesame (तिल) is one of the oldest oilseeds, roasted for its nutty taste. Flaxseed (अलसी) is a small brown seed eaten whole or ground. Amaranth (रामदाना or राजगिरा) is a tiny seed that puffs when it is roasted, eaten across India on fasting days.
At Full Circle
Our Amaranth-Flaxseed Laddu (रामदाना अलसी लड्डू) is made from amaranth and flax seeds with chemical-free jaggery and Himalayan desi ghee; our Til-Gur Laddu is sesame and organic jaggery.
